As Muslims the world over celebrates the 2024 Eid-El-Fitr, a celebration marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, they have been advised to continue to pray for Allah’s peace to reign over Nigeria and bring solution to the numerous challenges bedeviling the Country.
The Director General, Tinubu Presidential Ambassadors of Nigeria and Diaspora (TPAND), Hon. Yusuff Hussaini, made the call while felicitating with Muslim Ummah on the celebration of the all important season in the Islamic World.
Engr. Hussaini in a chat with our Correspondent said the Ramadan afforded Muslims opportunity to draw closer to Allah in prayers, studying of the holy Qur’an, listening to various teachings, among other spiritual exercises, stressing that there was need for Muslims to continue in such manner even after the fast.
Engr. Yusuff, who doubled as the Deputy Director, APC Presidential Campaign Council – Diaspora Directorate during the 2023 General Elections, called on Muslims and Nigerians at large to show love and care to others the more, and also stressed the need for good neighbourliness.
He said where love exist, the intention to harm others or become a stumbling block to others will not be nurtured, calling on the people to continue to showcase the virtues of kindness and serve as agent of change in the Society.
While wishing Muslims a peaceful celebration, he prayed to Allah to grant more wisdom to leaders in authority to enable them take decisions that will be of benefit to all citizens.
