The House of Assembly Member Representing Okehi State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya, has congratulated Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan and Eid-El-Fitr Celebration.
In a Message of Felicitation, Hon. Otokiti said Ramadan is a period that afford Muslims opportunity to draw closer to Allah as they take into cognisance, acts that are not pleasing to Allah more than ever before to enable them commune with Allah in holiness and purity of heart.
The Assembly Member stressed that the period also afforded Muslims the opportunity to study the Holy Qur’an and listen to Lectures of various scholars, pointing out that such will go a long way at strengthening their understanding of the Holy Qur’an and the religion.
He congratulated Muslims on the Success completion of the Fast, calling on Muslims to keep to heart and also put to practice, all lessons learnt during the season.
He particularly congratulated Muslims in Okehi State Constituency for their commitment to the worship of Allah and for co-existing peacefully with others, praying to Allah to crown their efforts with more blessings.
Hon. Otokiti called on them to sustain their prayers for the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration in the State, noting that prayer was important in all human endeavours.
