National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi State Chapter Disclaims Alleged Delegates at Valedictory Session for Governor Yahaya Bello.

Lokoja, 24th January 2024

The office of the State Chairman National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi state chapter (NYCN) has been made aware of a purported list of delegates claiming to represent the organization at the Valedictory Session for His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in Kogi State.

While we hold no objection to the recognition of Governor Bello, it is imperative to clarify that the individuals mentioned in the said correspondence are not delegated by the National Executive Council, the National President or BOT of the NYCN.

The current leadership and members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria vehemently deny any knowledge of the aforementioned delegates. It has come to our attention that a significant number of them are either suspended or impeached members at the state and zonal levels, rendering them non-affiliates of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

The NYCN wishes to inform the Kogi State Government and the general public that these individuals are not representatives of our organization. We emphasize that their actions are those of swindlers attempting to exploit the Governor’s commitment to youth engagement.

We kindly urge the Kogi State Government and the General Public to disregard any claims made by these individuals. Their attempts to capitalize on the Governor’s support for the youth do not reflect the values and principles of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

The NYCN remains dedicated to fostering genuine youth development and engagement, and we stand firm in disassociating ourselves from any unauthorized representation at the Valedictory Session for Governor Yahaya Bello.

Amb. Usman Ogohi Samuel,

State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter.
