The Caretaker Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area in Kogi State, Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has commended the Management of Demonstration Group of Schools for hunting for talents and developing their skills through sporting activities in the School.
Barr. Michael gave the commendation in a Message to the maiden Inter-House Sports Competition organized by the School in the Area.
The Caretaker Chairman who was represented by the Council Secretary, Hon. Oyenibi Omojola Sunday (Ajon), charged the young athletes to continue to develop their skills, noting that the youth have brighter days ahead.
He enjoined them not to give up on their talents, explaining that it attracts reward.
“We need to develop our sport infrastructure for future representations so that we can stop wasting money, time, and the political capital we invest in international games. One of the areas we can explore is the inter-school sports competitions
“Secondary school level is the best point to harvest fresh talents and begin to nurture them, not when their feets are getting tired and their counterparts elsewhere are already planning to retire”, he stressed.
The Representative of the Caretaker Chairman at the event granted four years Scholarship to Matthew for his brilliant performance at the Inter-House Competition.
Earlier, the Principal of the School, Deaconess Alabi C. W, expresses her profound gratitude to all the patrons, parents, invited guests, and the entire sports management team for their support and cooperation in making the maiden Inter-House Sport competition a huge success.
“She expressed her sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area Caretaker Chairman, our highly esteemed parents for your moral and financial support to see to the success of this memorable event in the lives of the pupils/students. We are most grateful

The Demonstration Group of Schools is one of the leading citadels of learning in Kabba Community in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
