“Sustain Lessons of Ramadan For a Better Society” – Prof Solomon Avidime

As Muslims the world over celebrate Eid-el Fitri, the Chief Medical Director/ Chief Executive Officer (CMD/CEO) of the Reference Hospital, Okene, Prof. Solomon Avidime, has felicitated with Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire Muslims in the state for witnessing this year’s celebration.

In a message of felicitation, Prof Avidime prayed Allah to accept the Ibadah and sacrifices of the Muslim umma, urging muslims to sustain the lessons learnt during the Ramadan period.

According to him, “The Ramadan was a period of abstinence, sacrifice and devotion which should be sustained for the benefit of the people in the society and to ensure its growth”.

He said the virtues of humility, sacrifice and love as taught by the Holy Prophet Muhammad” (S.A.W), should always reflect in the lifestyle of all for a better society.

While congratulating Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the 30-day fast, the CMD enjoined Muslims to use the occasion to reach out to the less privileged around them and continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of Kogi State and Nigeria in general.
