The new Managing Director, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Ahovi Salami Ibrahim, has assured of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led Administration’s commitment to ensuring adequate water supply to all nooks and crannies of the State.

Hon. Ahovi gave the assurance after receiving his appointment Letter from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade in Lokoja, the State Capital.

The RUWASSA Managing Director said Governor Ododo is interested ensuring the people feel government impact in all sectors, pointing out that he has no doubt in his ability to turn the challenges of water supply around for good in no distant time.

“I am excited over my appointment as the MD of RUWASSA in Kogi State by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and I also give glory to Almighty God for this opportunity

“We are assuring the good people of Kogi State that every nooks and crannies should be expecting massive water supply by God’s grace

“I am not giving this assurance as a Politician, I am saying this based on the fact that I know the readiness of this administration

“Kogi State now led by His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is interested in supplying water to the people of the State because he is already fulfilling his Electioneering Campaign promises and water is part of it and he is prioritizing it”, Hon. Ahovi added.
