Muslims have been advised to keep to heart, all the lessons learnt during the just concluded 2024 Ramadan and also be practitioners of same.
The Chairman, National Sesame Seed Association of Nigerian (NSSAN), Kogi State Chapter, Alhaji Damisa Suleiman, made the call in a Chat with our Correspondent in Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.
Alhaji Damisa said Islamic Scholars took turns to enlighten Muslims the more about the Religion, the Works of Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) and how they should live in harmony with others in a given Society among other topics.
The Kogi NSSAN Boss said such lessons were important for a better Society, noting that they should not just end with the season but should be carried on by all.
“Alhamdullilah! We praise Allah for seeing us through the 2024 Ramadan and for helping us celebrate Eid-El-Fitr successfully without hitches
“We abstained from several things during Ramadan – our words, actions, reaction, our dealings with others. Like all we focused on was just to please Allah and his Messenger
“Now that the Ramadan is over, we need to continue to exhibit those characters at all times. We will be hypocrites if we go back to doing things that are not pleasing to Allah
“Those lessons we learnt during Ramadan, let’s keep them to heart and also practice them on daily basis so that we can continue to please Allah and impact our Society the more”, he stressed.
Alhaji Suleiman Damisa enjoined Muslims to continue to pray for Leaders in positions of Authority for Allah’s wisdom upon them to enable them do the right thing at the right time that will impact the lives of the masses positively.
