Ohinoyi of Ebiraland Mourn as Ohindase the Great Join Ancestors

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM, Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, has described the late Ohindase of Okengwe the Great, HRH Pa Stephen Eneika Bamidele Bello as a peacemaker and a rallying point of unity.

Dr. Tijani Anaje while speaking at the burial ceremony of the late Ohindase in Okengwe, noted that he received the news of the death of the Revered traditional ruler with a rude shock, stating that he has set a precept of good rulership while serving as the Ohindase of Okengwe.

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland explained that the late Traditional Ruler was a father figure, a pathfinder, wisdom personified, and a great source of encouragement who will be remembered for his numerous positive impact in the Society.

He noted that he had visited the Monarch after he was crowned as the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, revealing that the late Ohindase was specific about the unity of the people and the need to work as a team to move the Area and Ebiraland forward.

Dr. Anaje condoled with the immediate family members of the deceased, sons and daughters of the Area, the people of Ebiraland and Kogites in general, praying to Allah to grant his soul eternal rest.

The ninety-two-year old late Ohindase of Okengwe, HRH Pa Stephen Eneika Bamidele Bello, died as the longest serving Monarch in Ebiraland, clocking 47 years on the throne.

May his soul rest in Peace.
