The Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) as paid a working visit to the newly established Kogi State University, Kabba. Kogi Online gathered from a message from the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Tade Oshaloto on Tuesday.
The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University, Prof. Kehinde Imisi Temitope Eniola received the NUC Resource Verification team at the premises of the University’s permanent site on Tuesday in Kabba on Monday.
The visit is in line with the effort of the VC to ensure the institution commence full academic activities in this 2023/2024 academic year.
The team visited the three campuses of the institution, where they inspected lecture theaters, classrooms, laboratories, studios, libraries (including e-library), and workshops. The NUC also assessed the human resources of the institution.
The VC assured the team of the readiness of the Kogi State Government, and Governor, Yahaya Bello, the University management, and friends of the University to see that Kogi State University, Kabba indeed achieves the desire to beat the best and be the best.
