Kabba/Bunu: Caretaker Chairman Implore APC Executives On Working Together

Caretaker Chairman, Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael has implored APC executives elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to design and implement policies that prioritize all citizens and to always consider the interest of our people above political affiliations.

The Chairman, who received local government executive members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at the council chamber in Kabba, on Friday, said development policies would only find full relevance in people’s lives when there is inclusivity, fairness, equity, ownership, and sustainability.

Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael told the executives that one of the biggest challenges we are facing in our party is divisiveness, but that the governing party must work towards healing and unifying all party stakeholders in our local government by ensuring a collective vision, and channelling energy and resources into human and capital developments.

“You can convert people. You can appeal to people to come to our party APC,’’ he stated.

Hon Zacchaeus Dare Michael said Kabba/Bunu is too blessed with human, natural, and material resources to be struggling. We would revive our internally generated revenue (IGR) and percentage of the benefits will be given back to the party.

“We have no reason to be poor. Looking back on where we are coming from, where we have been, why we are having difficulty in party men patronage, a lack of quality leadership,’’ the Chairman said.

Mr. Chairman asked the party leaders to come up with a plan that will accommodate all our party members from all the wards to have a sense of belongings in our administration.

On security, the chairman said, I am ready to invest in security and willing to collaborate with all available security agencies in securing lives and property of our people.

Comr. Solomon Jem, the APC Kabba/Bunu LGA chairman, thanked the chairman for granting them audience.

“We will continue to support you as your able ambassadors, willing ambassadors, and capable ambassadors,’’ party chairman said.
