Kabba/Bunu: Caretaker Chair Pays Homage To The Obaro of Kabba

In furtherance of his commitment to swiftly bring all critical stakeholders on board at setting the agenda and taking decisions for the overall development of Kabba/Bunu local government, the caretaker chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon (Barr) Zaccheaus Dare Michael paid a thank you homage to the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi.

The chairman, Hon Zaccheaus Dare Michael, underscores the role of the traditional institution to community developments being the custodian of tradition and culture.

In his remarks “As a son to OBARO and all of you in the council, I need no introduction. This is a home coming for me, my coming here today, is to officially present myself to the OBARO and to also show forth my unreserved appreciation for his enormous support. Our local government has lost its glory and we as a people needs to as a matter of urgency revive it. Our administration is going to take a decisive and definite steps on the issue of security. We can’t achieve anything meaningful without having a secured society. I want to appeal to all our village heads to help us talk to our hunters in their various communities as we are going to be engaging them in no distance time.

One of the speakers and a chief in council, Chief Funsho Olorunfemi, former chairman of the local government admonish the chairman, Hon Zaccheaus Dare Michael to be a good ambassador of Oweland.

The Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi in his response, said “What stands you out amidst others is competency, capacity and loyalty. No one can undermine the role of education in leadership responsibilities. You have indeed displayed your sagacity, just merely three days of your assumption in office, you had been able to set-up two functional committees that are rich in compositions and also result-oriented. I advise you to constantly consult your leaders for any step and ensure you carry your party along in your administration. God will guide you in your new assignment”.
