President Bola Tinubu has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his sterling leadership in Kogi State.
In a statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onogwu Muhammed, the duo had a fruitful meeting on crucial matters relating to security and economy in Abuja on Friday.
According to Onogwu, the President commended Governor Bello for his exemplary stewardship in steering the ship of Kogi state since assuming office in January 2016.
“This acknowledgement from Mr. President serves as a testament to Governor Bello’s commendable leadership, affirming his dedication and impactful contributions to the prosperity and well-being of the people of Kogi State,” he said.
Assumed office on the January 27 , 2016, Governor Yahaya Bello’s term comes to an end on the 27 January, 2024 as he will be handing over the baton of leadership to his successor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Governor-Elect.
