The Minister of Federal Capital Territories FCT Abuja, Nyesom Wike have been advised to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party PDP to the All Progressive Congress APC to ensure continuity of good governance of President Ahmed Tinubu beyond 2027.
The National Coordinator of G37 Support Group, Comr. Evans City, made the call in Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
Comr. Evans said the call became necessary in view of Wike’s demonstration of serious commitment to the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending him for his landmark achievements in Abuja within a span of one year in Office.
“I must commend the Former Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Nyesome Wike who is now the Minister of FCT for the success recorded in just one year in Office
“In view of his achievements so far, we are now calling on the pragmatic Minister to formally join the APC in order to smoothen our plan for a total take over of Rivers State and the continuity of present administration in the Country
“The Minister has demonstrated honesty, transparency and commitment to the lofty ideals of the President and these were attested to by the recent commissioning of several projects in Abuja during one Year in Office
“I also wish to commend the efforts of the interim Chairman of APC in Rivers State, Chief Tony Okocha for organizing a sound footing for the APC in the State. I know this is just the beginning, greater success awaits us”, he stressed.
Comr. City Evans appealed to the 25 law makers led by Rt. Hon. Martins Amaewhule who are loyal to the Minister to remain resolute and focus in ensuring they deliver the needed results by using their positions to impact the lives of the citizens positively and also sponsor Bills that will transform the State for the benefit of all.
