In a show of love and display of politics devoid of bitterness, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 Governorship election in Lagos State, Princess Islamiyat Oyefusi, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the just concluded Primary election of the Party for the November Governorship election in the State.
Princess Islamiyat in her Congratulatory Message on Social Media – X, described the the emergence of Aiyedatiwa as impressive and praised him for his doggedness.
The pragmatic female Politician who has become a voice of inspiration to many, wrote;
Lucky Aiyedatiwa was declared winner of the Ondo State APC Governorship Primary Election by the Chairman of the Election Committee and Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, who stated that Governor Aiyedatiwa coasted to victory in 16 of the 18 local government areas of the State.
He announced that Aiyedatiwa amassed 48,569 votes in the primary to beat his closest rival – Mayowa Akinfolarin who polled 15,343 votes in the election as Olusola Oke polled 14,865 votes to emerge third.
