Opinions can be defined as our views on a matter or issues, either when discussed informally or formally, all depending on how each corporate body made up of people from different backgrounds or the individual are coming from.
One interesting thing about opinions is that it is given based on several factors.
We have seen people who will for no reason support a particular Party, but because of either Ethnic, religious or social affiliations, end up supporting such Party.
While on the other hand you see someone whom you Know to harbor animosity towards a particular person, but for one among the earlier mentioned factors decides to take sides with such a person.
We all air our opinions based on several factors that we most often can not or will not make public.
While some of our REASONS are parochial, premodial, emotional or sentimental, some are interestingly of high virtues as they are made based on the opposite of the earlier mentioned factors.
Having said this, we should endeavor to give kudo’s to people who have the boldness, courage and inner strength to voice out their opinions even if it is against popular opinion. Such personalities are rare among the political ruling class and as such should be applauded whenever we come across them.
It is amusingly interesting when people with divergent opinion to those of these rare enigmatic species and gifts to humanity go as far as insulting them for coming out bold to air their opinions on matters that will have end time benefits for the masses and Society.
Since the society is structured in a way to always be in a haste to achieve results, majority of the people give their opinions based on this “let us get result now now” spirit off majority of the masses.
But to the following person’s @ Hon. Leke Abejide, MHR, Yagba Federal Constituency and Chief Richard Asaje, National Coordinator and Convener of “Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group”, are two great minds who have seen beyond the immediate benefits but long time benefits of identifying with the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led government, beleiving that the masses to whom they owe an allegiance should not be the Grass where two elephants should fight.
Today, we are all living witnesses of the salient radical positive revolution aimed at transforming the fortunes of the Confluence State positively. For this singular bold step taken in coming out boldly to say and exhibit their love, concern and passion in ensuring the masses reap the dividends of democracy, we say God bless them and long will they live to see their dreams for the masses come to pass. So help us God (Amen).
