Hours after Alhaji Abdulrazaq Isa Koto was deposed and sent on exile, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu has been turbaned as the new Ohimegye Igu of Koton Karfe.
The new Ohimegye was turbaned by the kingmakers at the Odaki ruling house at a colourful ceremony on Tuesday.
Shortly after the ceremony, the new Ohimegye Igu Koton Karfe urged the people to work in unity and embrace peace.
He promised to carry all the people along and solicited for their cooperation.
