Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo have been commended for fulfilling part of his Campaign promises within his 100 Days in Office.
The Former Minority Leader, Kogi State House of Assembly (2007-2011), Barr. Ndakwo Abdulrahaman Tanko, made the assertion while congratulating the Governor for clocking 100 Days in Office.
Hon. Ndakwo said ranging from prompt payment of Salary to Civil Servants, to his prompt response to security issues in the State was a sign that he knows his onions.
He said Governor Ododo has shown his capacity to lead the people well and bring about more development to the Confluence State, urging him to continue in the good works he has started.
“His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State clocking 100 Days in Office is a thing of joy for us as Party men who worked collectively to ensure that the APC and our Candidate succeed in the last Governorship election
“With all sense of humility, the workaholic gentlemen is already fulfilling parts of his Campaign Promises and we are happy. He has taken the issue of Salary very serious and the Civil Servants in the State applauds his efforts because he is paying their salaries at the right time
“He is also very proactive. When there was security breach in Omala LGA, he rushed there. This is a sign to show that he is not joking with the security of the people of the State. Recently, he shared vehicles and Motorcycles to State Security personnel to aide their operatives. He is simply sending a message to enemies of the State that Kogi will not be their abode
“His Excellency is working and we must give him all the accolades. Within 100 Days in Office, he has truly done so much and he should be appreciated even as we expect more from him in the days ahead”, Hon. Tanko stressed.
Speaking on the need for unity, the Legal Luminary explained that Governor Ododo has displayed his drive for a united Kogi State through his prompt response and visit to Kogi East, calling on the entire people of the State to be united for a common course that will lead the State to greater heights.
The Former Minority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly who hails from Kogi Local Government Area of the State, assured the Governor of the continuous support of the people of the Area, praying to God to see him through as continues to pilot the affairs of the people of the Confluence State.
