As the Speaker and Members of Kogi State House of Assembly receives Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commissioner nominees for screening today at the floor of Kogi State House of Assembly, Engr. Joseph Olusegun Stephen who is one of nominees successfully screened by the legislators, has expressed gratitude to all his supporters who came around both from within and outside the shores of the Confluence state to witness the epoch making event.
Engr. Joseph the successfully screened commissioner nominee expressed delight with the massive turnout of his teeming supporters, family and friends as well as political and business associates who made out time despite their busy schedules to rally support round him for the screening exercise.
“I must admit that I feel highly honoured and privileged to stand before the Right Honourable Speaker and his very well read and highly exposed legislators to defend my credentials and further reveal to them what I am capable of doing In ensuring that the Governor Ododo’s administration continue to consolidate on the already existing sterling legacies of the immediate past administration of Governor Yahaya Bello, CON, under whatsoever ministry I am found worthy to head as a commissioner consequent upon the success of my screening exercise and confirmation. It is indeed a rare privilege that I do not take for granted to stand before men and women of great political and legislative repute as well as before you all my supporters and well wishers who came around to show me solidarity with your presence today at the hallowed chamber of the Kogi State House of Assembly.”
“Looking at the crowd of supporters that came out to give me the morale boost I enjoyed today, leaves me filled with joy and fulfilment for I am encouraged to know that together we can always do this assignment well enough. My gratitude remains immeasurable to everyone of you who made out time to come around today”.
The commissioner designate pray for journey mercy to all his supporters both to those travelling within and outside the state regardless of the distance.
He further reiterates his assurance of delivering in his very best in whatsoever capacity Governor Ododo finds him worthy to serve as a commissioner.
Finally, Engr. Joseph appreciates Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo the fifth executive governor of Kogi State and the immediate past Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy of this opportunity of being nominated as a commissioner designate.
He referred to them as his benefactors and pray that God Almighty continue to bless and protect them accordingly.
