RAMADAN: Ohinoyi of Ebiraland Holds General Iftar, Calls for More Unity Among the People

Few days after hosting Community of Persons Living With Disabilities to an Iftar (breaking of fast) at the Palace, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Dr. Tijani Muhammed Anaje, has again held a general Iftar involving men, women and Children across Kogi Central.

Amidst jubilation and appreciation to Allah, the Palace of the Ohinoyi Ebiraland in Okene, the Central Senatorial District of Kogi State, was filled to the brim as the People gathered in their numbers to break their fast with the Paramount Ruler of Ebiraland.

There was enough to eat as the people showered praises on the new Ohinoyi of Ebiraland for his rare gesture, praying to Allah to bless him the more.

Those at the Iftar described the Ohinoyi as a man with the fear of Allah who is taking the lead in portraying the need for the people to live in harmony and oneness of heart, as they also promised their continuous support to his rulership in the Area.

The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, while addressing the people said his joy knows no bound over the population that came to grace the general Iftar at his Palace.

Dr. Anaje who appreciated the people for honouring his invitation said the Iftar was organized to bring the people together and share with them, what Allah has blessed him with and also interact with them face to face.

He stressed the need for the people to continue to practice all the attributes exhibited during the Ramadan season to enable them enjoy more of Allah’s blessings on earth and in the hereafter.

The Ohinoyi said it will be hypocritical to abstain from sin during Ramadan and go back to them after Ramadan, stressing that God cannot be deceived by His Creatures.

The Paramount Ruler of Ebiraland called on the well-to-do individuals in the society to take out time to give arm to others, explaining that the need to render help to others in the current face of economic challenge cannot be overemphasized.

He also used the opportunity to call on Muslims to pray for leaders in authority at all levels for Allah’s wisdom upon them take right decisions that will impact the lives of the citizens positively and enjoined the people to desist from speaking ills of Leaders.
