Emmanuel Obaro, representing Yagba East Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly on Thursday submitted two draft bills for consideration of the House.
A Bill to repeal the Kogi State Urban and Regional Planning, 2010 and Enact a Bill to provide for the Administration of Physical Planning Urban Development, Urban Regeneration and Building Control related purposes; and A Bill for a Law to make provision for the amendment of Chiefs (Appointment, Disposition and Establishment of Traditional Councils in Kogi State) Law, 2006.
Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Aliyu Umar Yusuf has earlier notified the House about two private bills.
The Urban Law when repealed and reenacted and subsequently assented to, it will take care of the loopholes in the administration of urban, regional and building plans in the State.
The Chiefs Law will create more sanity in the running of the affairs of traditional institution when assented to.
