N.1B Bursary: Idris Gegu Commends Senator Karimi’s Commitment To Kogi West Students

Honorable Abubakar Idris Gegu, a trusted aide to the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has lavished praise on Senator Sunday Steve Karimi for his innovative leadership and unwavering dedication to the educational and personal growth of the youths and students of the district.

In a statement issued to pressmen on Tuesday, 4th June, 2024, Hon. Idris Gegu praised Senator Karimi for his commitment to supporting the educational development of his senatorial district, describing the bursary scheme as a “laudable initiative” that will have a significant impact on the lives of many students and their families.

Senator Karimi who recently announced N100 million annual bursary scheme has been hailed as a groundbreaking initiative that will empower countless students to pursue their academic dreams and reach their full potential.

The N100 million annual bursary scheme is expected to benefit at least 1,000 students from Kogi West Senatorial District annually.

Hon Idris Gegu commended Senator Karimi’s visionary approach and urged the committee responsible for implementing the scheme to ensure that it is done in a fair and transparent manner, and that the funds reach the intended beneficiaries and encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunity and excel in their academic pursuits.
