Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group Calls for More Support for Governor Ododo-led Administration in Kogi

The people of the Western Senatorial District of Kogi State have been called upon to give their maximum support to the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy.

 

The Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, made the call at a meeting held at the Odogba Royal Hall in Kabba.

 

The National Coordinator of the Group, Chief Richard Asaje, said governance requires the contributions of all, hence the need for the people to support the present administration to enable them achieve greater results for the benefit of citizens of the State.

 

Chief Asaje emphasized that going by the antecedents of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo-led administration in the State, the people stands to benefit more when they remain united and contribute their quota to the development of the Confluence State.

 

He pointed out that there is need for the people of the Western Senatorial District to come together to speak with a voice, stating that such will go a long way at actualizing the aspiration of the people of the District.

 

“The best for us to do as a people is to support the government of the day led by the people of the Central Senatorial District. Without doubt, it is more easier for power to shift from Central to West because they are a people that knows yesterday

 

“We need to be more united as a people to achieve a common goal so that when the time come, we will know the way to go and speak with a voice

 

“Ododo has started on a good note so we need to support the government of the day so that we can all enjoy more democracy dividends”, he stressed.

 

The Assistant National Coordinator of the Pressure Group, Abdulganiu Abdulwahab, emphasized the need for unity among the people, without which he said nothing will be achieved.

 

He heep praises on Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on the manner he is governing the people of the State within his short period in Office, praying to Allah to see him through.

 

Others at the meeting in their various contributions, suggested the need to organize a Town Hall meeting for Leaders of Okun extract to chart the way forward and also called on youth to join the movement for the liberation of the Senatorial District.

 

They also appreciated the National Coordinator of Like Minds Pressure Alliance, Chief Asaje for being a true Leader with the interest of all at heart, praying to God to see him through his quest of advocating good Leadership in the Confluence State.
