The Caretaker Chairman of Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. Zacchaeus Dare Michael has assured residents of improved security and better engagement for the benefit of all.
A statement by Comr. Omofa John, the Special Adviser on New Media to the Caretaker Chairman, explained that Barrister Michael gave the assurance when he received Ebira Community Leaders in Kabba-Bunu on a Courtesy Visit.
The Caretaker Chairman noted that his administration will ensure fairness, justice, discipline and accountability, and urged them to continue to prioritise unity and peace for rapid development.
The Chairman reiterated his commitment to partner with the Ebira Community in Kabba-Bunu LGA, noting that whatever is due for them will definitely be delivered accordingly.
“I wish to assure you of my continuous support and I want to call on all the sons and daughters of Ebiraland that we should all come together for the development of our land and remain united
“This is because without unity and peaceful coexistence amongst the people, there will be no meaningful growth and development in our communities, Local Government Area and State
“We will provide security and good dividends of democracy for all. We will not also hesitate to sanction those who go against the laws”, he stressed.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation, Alhaji Lamidi James, commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his impactful leadership and the good steps taken so far in cushioning the current economic hardship.
Alhaji Lamidi said the recent sharing of rice palliatives, increased percentage and the timely payment of Kogi State Civil Servants salaries, were commendable.

“We pledge our unwavering support to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo of our commitment to leveraging our connections with other socio cultural Associations in the Local Government Area for total support”, they assured.
Also speaking, Suberu Okatengwu Adams, pledged that Ebira people in Kabba-Bunu will remain united, peace loving and security conscious at all times.
