Lokoja, April 2, 2024 (NAN) Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi, has assured the people of Igbaruku community of positive development that would promote unity and progress in the area.
Ododo gave assurance at the Maiden edition of the Igbaruku Day Celebration 2024 in Oke- Eri Community in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Represented by the state’s Commissioner for Environment, Engr. Oluwasegun Joseph, the governor said that under his administration, unity and development would remain one of his key agenda.
He assured the people that Igbaruku community would continue to witness tremendous change under his administration.
The governor.thanked the people for supporting the ruling APC during the last governorship election, and promised to change the narrative affecting the community.
The governor further promised to work closely with the traditional rulers in order to foster infrastructural development, job empowerment for the youths and women in the community.
The highlights of the occasion was the various cultural displays as well as other entertainments.
