Governor Bello noted that Senator Oluremi Tinubu was instrumental to Ododo’s victory through her support in mobilizing women and other crucial stakeholders.

He expressed confidence that Ododo, after his inauguration on January 27, 2024, would bring pride to Kogi women, the party, and the people of the state.

In response, the First Lady congratulated Ododo, highlighting that his victory showcased the people of Kogi State’s desire for continuity and consolidation.

On November 12, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Ahmed Usman Ododo the winner of the November 11 governorship election, securing the highest number of lawful votes at 446,237, surpassing other candidates.
