In less than one hundred days in office as the Executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo has demonstrated to be a futuristic and goal oriented Leader. Judging by his strategic reform policies and approaches to governance, one could boldly say that the electorates in Kogi State, got it right during the last gubernatorial election.
Ranging from his equilibrium cabinet structure; which is filled with people, with wealth of experiences who are capable of delivering on the manifestos of His Excellency, and that of our party, the All Progressive Congress (APC). Following the trends carefully since His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo assumption of duty, it has become crystal clear that he did not stumbled on the job, but came prepared to consolidate on the numerous achievements of the previous administration.
As an eclectic individual, Governor Ododo’s leadership style is what the present day Kogi requires to stay afloat as the fastest developing state in the North Central region of the country, in the areas of Education, Health, Human Capital Development, and of course Infrastructural Developments. Kogi has again, made an excellent choice in terms of quality representative and active governance.
Readiness of local and foreign investors in doing business in Kogi State, road rehabilitation and construction by the Federal Ministry of Works, uplift of Inter-city roads in Lokoja, Kabba and other areas by the state government, payment of WAEC and JAMB fees of all public school students in the state, redressing of the drainage system in Lokoja metropolis to control the effects of flooding, to the recovery of 53 stolen transformers, and his high resistance to criminals and acts of criminality in the state. All these, just to mention but a few has been achieved by His Excellency, Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo in less than one hundred days in office.
It is therefore of great importance to rally support for the incumbent administration, through all possible means, in order to collectively achieve the “Kogi” of our dreams.
The Ododo led administration is one with great prospects, and we are confident of the delivery of sustainable dividends of democracy, in the coming months and years.
