As Muslims commemorate the 2024 Eid-El-Fitr, a celebration to mark the competition of the Ramadan fast, they have been called upon to continue in the lessons learnt and abide by the attitude practised during the holy month.

The Chiroma Toto in Nasarawa State, Dr. Muhammed Musa Maikaya, who made the call in a Telephone conversation with our Correspondent, said the need to continually live by the lessons learnt during the season cannot be overemphasized, stressing that such will go a long way at ensuring a better Society for all.

He called on Nigerians to imbibe the attitude of kindness and as well, seek the good of others at all times for a better Society.

“The ramadan is simply a period for us to learn how to continuously live our lives, it is not a spiritual exercise for a short period of time

“As long as we are alive, we need to continually live by the lessons learnt and everything we practiced during Ramadan to enjoy more of Allah’s blessings

“My Message to the people, not just Muslim ummah but all citizens of Nigeria, is that we should have compassion for each other, understand how your neighbour feels, support others, pray for their progress, help one another and strive to put smiles on the faces of others”, Dr. Maikaya stressed.

The Former Nasarawa State Governorship Aspirant in Nasarawa State and Founder of Maikaya Foundation, congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan which lasted for 30 days, noting that the period afforded Muslims opportunity to draw closer to Allah the more.
