The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Alhaji Chogudo Ahmed Sule has admonished Nigerians to sustain the unity, peace and togetherness demonstrated during the ramadan fasting.

In a statement signed and released to the press by the Head of Information Department of Kogi State House of Assembly, Idowu Aliu, the Assembly Clerk noted that, this would improve the harmonious coexistence amongst the people and strengthen the course for a prosperous nation which every citizen of the country yearns for.

According to him, “the one month Ramadan has exposed every Muslim to the tenents of Islam as exemplified by Prophet Muhammad to live a victorious and successful life on earth ,just as he advised against anything that could take away the values learnt during the month”.

While wishing every Muslim faithful a happy eid-el-fitr celebration, the Kogi Assembly Clerk, however, admonished them to allow the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan reflect in their day to day life.

He emphasized the need for all and sundry to remain supportive of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo in his quest to ensure good governance in the State.
