Don’t Cause Crisis with Your Parallel Leadership, Kabba-Bunu APC members tell Commander Omodara

All Progressives Congress’s members in Kabba-Bunu local government area of Kogi State, has called on the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara not to allow some failed politicians to deceive him in causing crisis by using him to form a parallel leadership aside the existing one headed by the former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, stressing that those he hosted at his residence in Lokoja yesterday does not represent the real stakeholders of the party.

In a message signed by Adebayo Ajayi and Kayode Sunday on behalf of members of the party across the fifteen wards in the local government described the purported election of Commander Jerry Omodara as an attempted coup to cause confusion in the party, stressing that since after the Governorship election they have not deem it fit to call stakeholder’s meeting to commend the members of the party for performing well during the last election, rather he continue to call a selected few that masqueraded themselves as Stakeholders to corner the party leadership.

According to them, they are surprised while many of the real leaders across the wards were not invited for the meeting, noting that those seen at the meeting were decampee who just joined the party prior to the November 11, Governorship Election leaving people who have been working day and night for the overall success of the party, since 2015.

They said it is unheard of for Commander Omodara to deliberately refused not to extend invitation to people like Hon. Duro Meseko, DNPS, Chief Benjamin Olowodola, Barr. Anthony Ola Odano, Asuta ward leader, Hon. Sunday Amupitan, Aiyetoro Kiri Ward leader, Hon. Olu K, Odolu ward leader, Chief Gboyega Aka, Aiyewa ward, Hon Alhassan Kayode, aka Sir Kay, Iluke ward leader, Hon. Sunday Ojo, Bolorunduro/Odoakete ward leader, Mr. Femi/ Hon. Segun Olorunpomi Braithwaite Aiyeteju/Kajola ward leaders, Hon. Arewa, Okekoko leader, who have worked hard in building the party from scratch.

The advised him to retrace his steps by calling for the a holistic stakeholders meeting to be held in Kabba where all concerns will be in attendance to discuss the forward for the party.
