The House of Assembly Member Representing the good people Okehi State Constituency in Kogi State, Hon. Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya, has felicitated with Christians on the 2024 Easter celebration which marks the resurrection of Christ.
Hon. Otokiti in a statement congratulated Christians on the celebration, noting that the importance of Easter cannot be overemphasized in the Christian World.
Aside the celebration, the House of Assembly Member said it was important to abide by the teachings of Christ at all times and also put to practice, the significance of his resurrection.
Prince Alhassan noted that prayer remain a strong tool to change all life situations, calling on Christians to continually pray for Leaders in authority to enable them succeed and as well, impact the lives of the citizens positively.
“I want to use this medium to congratulate Christians on the celebration of the 2024 Easter. It is a very important celebration for the Christian body no doubt
“As we celebrate this all important season, my appeal to Christians is that we should not relent in our prayers for Leaders in authority
“The more we pray for them, the better the Society. Leaders needs God’s wisdom to direct them and make decisions that will be of good to even the common man on the street
“While we pray for leaders, let us not forget our Nation Nigeria. This is the only Country we can truly call ours. Let us build it together and bring back the giant in us”, he stressed.
He appreciated the people of Okehi State Constituency for their support so far, and prayed to God to see him through to impact his constituents positively.
