The Kogi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Adullahi Bello (Dollar), has visited the new Managing Director, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) in the State, Hon. Ahovi Salam Ibrahim in his Office in Lokoja, the State Capital.
The State APC Chairman who was accompanied by the Former Chairman of the Party, Hon. Hadi Ametuo, congratulated Hon. Ahovi on his appointment, describing it as well deserved.
Hon. Abdullahi Bello said the appointment of Ahovi as the State RUWASSA Boss was a square peg in a square hole, expressing optimism that he will deliver the needed results in his new assignment.
He said the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo brought Hon. Ahovi to revive RUWASSA, assuring of the support of the State government to ensure such goal is achieved.
“His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, did not made mistake by bring Ahovi to this place. His desire is for RUWASSA to be revived and turn the fortunes of this place around for the good of all
“insha’Allah, the story of this place will be turned around by this man, Ahovi in no distant time. The necessary support will be given to make sure this place starts working”, the Kogi APC Chairman assured.
He also encouraged staff of the Agency to cooperate with the new MD in his quest of reviving the Agency, saying that such will go a long way at achieving speedy results.
The new Managing Director, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) in the State, Hon. Ahovi Salam Ibrahim, appreciated the Kogi State APC Chairman for the visit, describing it as a huge source of encouragement.
Hon. Ahovi likened his visit to that of the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, saying that RUWASSA is blessed to have the Former State APC Chairman, Hon. Hadi Ametuo and the current State Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar), visit the Agency after an initial visit by the Accountant General of the State, Dr. Habibat Tijani Onumoko.
Hon. Ahovi said his appointment was a call to duty, reassuring that he will live up to expectations in the discharge of his duties.
Highlight of the visit was the Tour of Machines and other equipment at the RUWASSA Premises.
