No fewer than 500 People in Okengwe, Okene Local Government Area of Kogi State have benefited from the Free Medical Outreach organized by a Non-Governmental Organization, Ramat Molo Foundation (RMF).
The Free Medical Outreach which took place at the Okengwe Town Hall, Obehira Junction in Okene Local Government Area, saw men and women with various ailments attended to by Medical Professionals at the Outreach.
Before the commencement of the event, the Team of Medical Professionals on ground took turns to enlighten the people on the dangers of regular intake of salt and maggi, which they said frequent and too much intake of the substance causes harm to the body system.
They also cautioned the people to ensure their environment is kept clean at all times to prevent mosquitos and other harmful insects and animals from their homes, among others.
The Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Ramat Molo Foundation, Pharm. Ramat Aliyu Molo, while addressing the people, said she decided to conduct the Outreach in her hometown to strengthen their health.
Pharm. Molo said the importance of good health cannot be overemphasized; hence the need to convey the Outreach.
She appreciated her Colleagues in the Medical Profession who availed themselves to attend to the people, describing them as true friends with the interest of others at heart.
The CEO noted that her joy knows no bound over the large turn out of people, promising that she will continue to do more through the Foundation in the days ahead.
Beneficiaries of the Free Medical Outreach in their numbers, prayed for God’s guidance over the CEO of Ramat Molo Foundation, Pharm. Ramat Aliyu Molo and her team, to achieve greater success.
The beneficiaries who are majorly the elderly ones in the Society, received medicated eye glasses, Medical Consultation, Eye Checkup, Medical Test, Deworming (Adult and Children), Counselling, Drugs, among others free of charge.
RMF and the Team of Medical Professionals on ground promised to look into the cases of some who were diagnosed of other critical ailment to ensure they are treated.
