In celebration of the 2024 International Women’s Day (IWD), Voice Of Mopamuro Youth (VOMY) has added their voice in celebrating Mopamuro women and women across the world.
The Leader of VOMY, J.O. Abel-Ontop in the statement describes women as important in the running of affairs of the world.
He further added that in that note it is important that for the entire society and the government; and Women in their motherly nature to nurture and grow the Girl Child to become responsible women.
“In view of the 2024 IWD theme; ‘Inspire Inclusion’, it is important that the Government as a matter of public policy, the entire society and other women should use their motherly nature to train and nurture the Girl Child to be responsible women, who will have the necessary capabilities to lead with sense of responsibility as they are included in governance and leadership in all sectors”.
VOMY also charges Mopamuro Ladies and Women to be good examples of Womanhood in Kogi State, Nigeria and beyond.
Conclusively, the pressure group urged political parties in Africa to practical give women the encouragement and place in political leadership.
