Osun State Government have been called upon to expedite the release of the official cut-off marks and set a date for the physical verification process in the ongoing teachers’ recruitment exercise in the State.
The Private School Tutors Union of Nigeria (PRISCTUN) Osun State Chapter, made the call in a statement signed byComrade Salami Kudus, the Chairman of PRISCTUN in Osun State which was also copied to Cc:

PRISCTUN explained that with the 2023/2024 academic session nearing its end, it is crucial for the government to complete the process promptly to ensure a smooth transition for new teachers joining the State’s Public Schools.
“As a union affiliated with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), committed to promoting excellence in education, PRISCTUN recognizes the importance of having a competent and dedicated teaching workforce in Osun State
“The timely conclusion of the recruitment process will not only enable successful candidates to begin their preparations for the upcoming academic session but also contribute to the overall quality of education in Osun State”.
PRISCTUN however commends Osun State Government for its continuous efforts in improving the education sector through capacity building, infrastructure development, prompt payment of Workers’ Salaries, and various road construction and rehabilitation projects.
PRISCTUN expressed confident that the government will take the necessary steps to address her concerns and ensure a successful outcome for all stakeholders involved in the Teachers’ recruitment exercise in the interest of the State and a better future for the younger ones.
