Planned Protest: “Let us Build our Nation Together” – MD/CEO of NCMIIL, Advice Nigerians

Following the Nationwide planned Protest #EndBadGovernancescheduled for August 1st 2024, Nigerians have been advised to shelve their sword and embrace dialogue for the betterment of all.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria-China Multipurpose Investment International Limited (NCMIIL), Prince Ishola Olatunbosun, made the call while reacting to the call for the Nationwide protest in Abuja.

Prince Ishola, who was a former Aspirant for the position of the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said youth, who are the hope of every Nation deserves the right to good governance, employment and empowerment, explaining that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government is doing her best to meet the yearnings of Nigerians.

He pointed out that peaceful protest is ideal Worldwide, but feared that in recent times, Protests have been hijacked, causing unforeseen damages to private and government property as some also leads to lost of lives.

Prince Ishola said “round table talks and collective efforts at building our Nation – Nigeria, is what we need right now. Hard times will always come but I believe there will be ease at the end of the day

“Let us channel our energy to other options of getting things to work. Nigeria is a great Country and we can make things work for the betterment of all. The government has a role to play, we the citizens has our role to play as well. Please, let’s not give room to enemies of the State to hijack the good intentions to protest. Let’s embrace dialogue and I believe things will work out”, he stressed.

The MD/CEO of Nigeria-China Multipurpose Investment International Limited (NCMIIL) said the CEO of PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co., Ltd., Eric Shen, has also declared his support to the President Tinubu led administration in Nigeria, pointing out that the present government knows where the shoe itches and they are doing their best to ensure better life for the citizens.

He noted that all that is needed is better understanding and time, expressing optimism that the challenges of today will become a thing of the past under President Tinubu.
