Nigerian Youths For Atiku Welcomes HE Atiku Abubakar to Nigeria, Says PDP NEC Meeting Must Address Critical Issues

A socio political group in Ekiti State, Nigerian Youths For Atiku (NYFA) has welcomed the former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, back to Nigeria after some time outside the Country.

A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of NYFA, Comr. Russell Idatoru Bluejack, explained that the Chairman of the Group in Ekiti State who doubled as the Secretary of Support Groups for the Presidential Campaign Committee in the last Presidential election, Adebisi Adeola, said Nigerians are calling for a purposeful leader whose wealth of experience and acumen in public administration can navigate prosperity, among other dividends of democracy for the citizens.

Addressing the press in Ado Ekiti, Adeola said the panacea to oust APC-led government in 2027 is unity of purpose amongst the opposition parties.

He stressed that political parties and associations have evolved over the years through ideology and determination to checkmate the dictatorial tendencies of the ruling party.

While advising stakeholders in the party to rally round Atiku for a smooth disengagement of APC in the next dispensation and providing purposeful leadership for Nigerians, he called for clear direction for the party in the forthcoming National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the party.

The Chairman said the most anticipated NEC meeting is hoping to give a direction which will serve as an avenue to chart a way forward for the Party after lossing in the 2023 Presidential election.

“We hope the party will come out strong and give hope to the disturbed Nigerians about the future of PDP in Nigeria by addressing salient issues bordering on discipline and party supremacy”, he said.

While appreciating the president of NYFA, Prof. Gold C. W. Emmanuel, for providing leadership for the Group across the thirty six States, Adebisi said Prof. Gold is no doubt a woman who is worthy of emulation.

“We have seen her leadership dexterity and eagerness to engage the grassroots for the advancement of Nigeria under the leadership of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come 2027 and we are solidly behind her. Success shall be our ours”, he added.
