Following his death and the partition of India in 1947, Rana Basharat Ali Khan’s father, Rahmat Ali, along with his uncles Haji Shaukat Ali and Manzoor Ali, migrated from India to Kamalia, Pakistan. Their family roots trace back to the village of Jogoo Pand in India, where many of their relatives still reside.

The family has been involved in the jewelry business for centuries, establishing a reputation as skilled goldsmiths globally. This longstanding tradition in the jewelry trade underscores the family’s commitment to hard work and craftsmanship. Basharat’s father, Rahmat Ali, was a prominent jeweler in Kamalia, known for his shop “Asian Jeweler” in Sadar Bazaar.
