Kogi State NUP Chairman, Clement Ohida Rejoices with Gov Ododo on Appeal Court’s Verdict

Usman Ahmed Ododo - Executive Governor, Kogi State

The Kogi State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners [NUP] Engr. Clement Ohida, on behalf of the Senior Citizens, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo and the people of the State on the Verdict of the Court of Appeal which upheld the Tribunal ruling.

In a Congratulatory Message which was made available to Newsmen in Lokoja, Engr. Ohida described the Court of Appeal’s ruling which favoured Governor Ododo as a victory for democracy, rule of law, civil servants and retirees in the State.

He said since Governor Ododo’s assumption of Office, he has showed exemplary leadership in the pursuit of deepening democracy, providing good governance through the prompt payment of worker’s salary, payment of monthly pension and spreading of infrastructural development in every nook and cranny of the Confluence State.

The Kogi NUT Boss explained that the Court of Appeal judgement has re-validated the Governor’s victory at the November 11th 2023 Governorship race in the State, urging the governor to be magnanimous in victory by providing a space for his rivals to bring their innovations and ideas to bear to move the State to an eldorado of peace, unity and progress.

Engr. Clement Ohida equally tasked the closers in the legal battle to bury their hatchets, embrace the Ododo led-administration in the spirit of good sportsmanship.
