There flow a palpable sigh of relief as the long awaited Bill to repeal and re-enact the establishment of Kogi state College of Education Technical Mopa and other related matters therein has successfully been passed into Law by Kogi State House of Assembly courtesy of Hon. Olawumi Jacob, member KGHA representative for Mopamuro Constituency and other Yagba Federal Constituency representatives.
It will be recalled that upon establishing Kogi State University Kabba, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello emphasised the relocation of Kogi State College of Education Technical Kabba to Mopa in order to expand the scope of educational opportunities and dividend of democracy to Yagba Federal Constituency.
In a press statement released by Hon. Jacob, I told the good people of Mopamuro that the fact that the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello has made the pronouncement of the relocation to Mopa, at the appropriate time, the Bill shall be passed into law and today it has turned to a reality.
I appreciate His Exellency (GYB) for the privilege to consider my Constituency worthy of this lofty gesture, your name will forever be plated in gold on the soil of Mopamuro. My Yagba Federal Constituency counterparts, kudos to you all for your cooperation and effort to make this dream a reality, Hon. Olawumi expresses.
