The bustling town of Kabba in Kogi state was filled with excitement and jubilation today as the Honourable Salman Idris, Member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency, flagged off the much-awaited road construction project in Kabba. The project, which will cover a distance of 1km along “Korede quarters” in Kabba, is set to bring much-needed development and improvement to the area.
In a touching moment, the Kabiyesi, Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Solomon Owoniyi, expressed his gratitude towards Hon. Salman Idris for his unwavering support and dedication to the people of Kabba. Speaking on behalf of Hon. Salman Idris, Hon. Job Ologe announced that funds have been released for the initial 500m of the road construction project and assured the residents that the construction works will be completed in a timely manner. He reiterated Hon. Salman Idris’s committed commitment to bringing development to Kabba and promised that more projects are in the pipeline for the federal constituency.
