In commemoration of 2024 Igaruku Day celebration, His Royal Highness (HRH), Oba Engr. J.O. Babalola, the Onigbaruku of Igbaruku-Okeri in consultation with his Council of Chiefs has recommended Dr. (Chief) Femi Olubiyo for the award of Chieftaincy title as the Otun Gbadeniyi of Oke-Eri Land.
In a letter signed by His Royal Hignesss, he said Olubiyo was recognised for the title due to his outstanding contributions to the course of human development.
The conferment of the Honorary Chieftaincy will come up on 29th of March, 2024, while Igbaruku Day proper will hold on 30th of March, 2024.
