The member of the House of Representatives, Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide has extended his Good Friday greetings to the people of Yagba and Kogi State.
The message emphasised that Good Friday stands as a poignant reminder of the profound love demonstrated by Christ towards humanity.
Extending the Good Friday message, Hon. Leke Abejide said the solemn day serves as a powerful reminder of the immense love Jesus bestowed upon humanity.
“On Good Friday, we reflect on the profound act of selflessness, remembrance and prayers overflowing with gratitude for the gift of God to mankind”, he said.
The teachings of Jesus Christ contributed a lot to all people living together as one without any differences or discrimination. Abejide appealed to the people to observe Good Friday by offering prayers and praying for peace and harmony in our society.
“I extend my heartfelt prayers to all citizens of Yagba and our State. On this Good Friday, may the spirit of love, compassion, and forgiveness that Jesus championed guide us in our daily lives. May we find strength in His teachings and use them to build a more just and peaceful society”.
