The Director General, Kogi State Government House Administration, Dr. Shuaibu Umar Oricha, has been commended for his efforts at putting food on the tables of the less privileged at the ongoing 2024 Ramadan.
Halija Ramatu Abdulhammed, while reacting to the rare gesture of Dr. Oricha said she has taken stock of all the DG have been doing to put smiles on the faces of the people, noting that his benevolence is worth emulating by all and sundry.
“When the widows, orphans, and aged people could not stand the challenges that came with the removal of fuel subsidy that has affected the Country’s economy, Dr. Shuaibu Umar Oricha came forth to rescue them
“Adayi Oricha is a humanitarian and Philanthropist who believes everyone is equal before God and can become an agent of positive change in the society
“I use this medium to call on everyone to emulate the warm and loving gesture of the DG Government House Administration. I also employ us all to get closer to Allah as the month of Ramadan is gratefully winning up
“To my Muslim brothers and sisters, I encourage us to reach out to our families and neighbors now and after Ramadan because as a Muslim, caring for others should be our way of life”, she stressed.
She said during an interaction with Dr. Shuaibu, he emphasized the power of lailatulkadir, a powerful night of prayer, and called on all Muslims across the Country to seize the opportunity to pray for the success of leaders at all levels and also pray to Allah to ease the current hardship.
At the special prayer, she said the DG equally urged Muslim UMMAH to pray for Kogi State and the Administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for Allah to strengthen him to place Kogi State in a better economic stride, and also advised Kogites to join hands with the new government to build a greater kogi that will become an envy of all.
Hajia Ramatu Abdulhammed thanked Dr. Oricha and other Government functionaries who contributed to the success of the ongoing Ramadan project and prayed to Allah to grant them the best in the Holy Month of Ramadan.
