Just a day after his redeployment, Ambassador Oladele John Nihi popularly called OJN, has hit the ground running as Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters by visiting the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe for collaboration to take the youth and student of the State to enviable heights.

During the visit, Amb. OJN appreciated the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for first finding him worthy to serve as his Chief Press Secretary before being redeployed to serve as his Special Adviser on Youth and Student Matters.

OJN noted that his appointment to serve in the Youth Constituency was a call to his natural habitant, pointing out that serving the youth is always a delight.

He explained that his visit to the Commissioner was to seek for cooperation and collaboration towards pushing for better recognition, welfarism, empowerment, among others for the youth and student of the Confluence State, stressing that much more will be achieved in synergy.

While appreciating the Commissioner for the warm welcome, OJN promised to live up to expectations in the discharge of his duties.

Responding, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday Anyebe, congratulated OJN on his new assignment, describing him as a beacon of hope for the Nigerian youth.

Hon. Anyebe said going by the track records of OJN’s activities in the Youth Constituency, he has no doubt in his ability to deliver the needed results, assuring him of continuous collaboration of the Ministry at ensuring the agenda of the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration for the youth and student in Kogi State is achieved.

OJN was accompanied on the visit by the leaders of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), National Association of Kogi State Student (NAKOSS), National Association of Nigerian Student (NANS), Youth Parliament, among other Critical Stakeholders in the youth and student Constituency in Kogi State.

Ambassador Oladele John Nihi (OJN) who is the Vice President (West Africa), Pan-African Youth Union (PYU), was earlier appointed by the new Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as his Chief Press Secretary and was redeployed on Monday, 18th March 2024 to serve as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Student Matters.
