Caretaker Chairman, Kabba/Bunu LGA, Hon. (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael today swears in other members of the Local Government Caretaker that he Chairs.
Charged the new transition committee members to reflect excellence in their duties and ensure delivery of the Transformational Agenda of his administration to the teeming residents of the Local Government Area.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, gave the charge after the swearing-in ceremony for the six (6) newly inaugurated Supervisors and Secretary, held at Council Chamber, Kabba/Bunu LGA Secretariat, Kabba.
The Chairman also said that as the new cabinet members prepare for the challenges ahead, see your appointment as a unique privilege and a call to service.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael said, “This event is historic. The transition committee members of the local government area have been painstakingly chosen. I sought for your cooperation in delivering the dividend of democracy to our people. That, his administration would not tolerate lawlessness, or any action that would affect peaceful coexistence within the local government area.”
“Meeting the targets is not an option. You must reflect excellence in your duty with the best interest of the people at heart,” he charged.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael, promised that his administration will run an open door policy, saying that he will carry everybody along no matter the differences.
In his acceptance speech, the Supervisor for Works, Housing, Lands and Survey, Hon (Chief) Fred Jimoh Aiyenale, on behalf of other appointees expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello CON, for deeming it fit to appoint them to be part of this administration, he promised their unalloyed cooperation and support to the Caretaker Chairman of the Local Government adding that they will put in their best for the success of this administration.
The new appointees and their portfolios are: Oyenibi Omojola Sunday; Secretary of the local government, Rufus Eniolorunda; Supervisor for Agriculture, Chief Aiyenale Fred Jimoh; Supervisor for Works and Housing.
Others are; Princess Omowumi Grace; Supervisor for Primary Health Care, Ojo Olayinka; Supervisor for Budget and Planning and Gunwa Ojo; Supervisor for Education.
In a separate remarks, the DLG, of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Council, Mrs. Funmilayo Olorungbokun, congratulated the new appointees for their well deserved appointment, saying that success is written on their faces, adding that with their support and cooperation, Kabba/Bunu Local Government will be the best in the comity of LGAs.
In his vote of thanks, the Local Government Secretary, Hon Oyenibi Omojola Sunday thanked the Caretaker Chairman, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael for his loving disposition towards all the appointees and reiterate their commitment to discharge their duties with all honesty, dedication, and integrity.
