The Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group has break it’s silence on the spate of orchestrated public protests ravaging and threatening the fragile Peace in Kogi East Senatorial District, initiated by Ajaka and his co- travellers in their determination to truncate the efforts and popularity being gained by the Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led government.
It’s unfortunate that the defeated SDP flag bearer in the last gubernatorial election still lives in political dream Land as he believes that he will become Governor through the judicial system. Ajaka went on a judicial journey unprepared as he did not carry along all the needed stuff’s that would have made the journey a fulfilling one.
Below are the things he ignorantly left behind:
1.He failed to prove that he won elections in the Western and Central Senatorial Districts of the State
2. He failed to bring along the duly Certified Agents of his Party on election day
3. Ajaka built his premise on the MYOPIC assumption of the Igala apologists that no matter what, they have the democratical voting strength to always emerge victorious in all gubernatorial elections, “a myth that GYB has since broken” in an Olympic record breaking style.
It is high time that the disillusioned Ajaka and his co-travellers come to terms with the present day reality, as the entire citizenry of the State, which includes the civil servants (most ardent critics of the government in the past) and residents of the State have began to give the Ododo led government a credible, TESTED and approved pass Mark for the giant strides he is radically taking in repositioning the State for great heights.
The Masses are not prepared to throw away this new government that is making them have sighs of relief, as civil servants, especially the Local Government Staffers, now sing a New national anthem “that a savior has emerged at last”.
For the first time in recent times civil servants now get their salaries as at when due ( and at a very reasonable acceptable percentage). In fact, this government broke a record in the payment of salaries since the creation of the State. It paid salaries to civil servants in the middle of the month, to enable them have a pleasant Sallah celebration this month (June 2024).
We are appealing, not coercing Ajaka and his co-travellers to sheath their legal sword, and for the sake of posterity, join hands with this government in other to move the State forward. He should not allow his personal ambition supercede the collective interest of the Masses and electorate of the State.
Finally, we are enjoining all well meaning Kogites, home and away to see the need to give maximum support to this new government, that is proving that it has come to do the business of governance in an unusual way that will produce results we have not been used to over the years, and which is already showing visible positive life transforming results.
