“No Place for Hate in Bristol” – Rana Basharat Declares as Bristol Community Leaders Stand United Against Hate Demonstrations (VIDEO)

Prominent Members of the Bristol Community, including Chairman of the International Human Rights Movement (IHRM), Rana Basharat Ali Khan, Former Labour Councillor – Amal Ali, and Local Business Community Members – Rana Shah Jahan and Rana Junaid Ahmed, along with other Community Members, visited Stapleton Road today.

 

The visit was to address the concerns of traders, business owners, and local residents regarding the demonstration scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

 

During the visit, Community leaders listened to the worries and reservations of the local traders and reassured them that Bristol has no place for hatred.

 

They emphasized that last Saturday’s demonstration had already shown that the city stands united against such divisive ideologies.

 

Bristol’s history is a testament to its respect for all religion, races, and cultures, and it will continue to uphold these values.

 

Community leaders assured the traders that today’s demonstrators would be confined to the Old Market Area. Both the police and local authorities have guaranteed that the protesters will not move towards Stapleton Road.

 

Rana Basharat Ali Khan and Amal Ali, along with their colleagues, confirmed that they are working closely with the police to ensure the safety and strength of the local community.

 

Local traders expressed their concerns, particularly those in the Old Market area, where many have boarded up their shops to protect their businesses from potential harm.

 

Rana Basharat Ali Khan and Amal Ali conveyed a clear message that Bristol does not tolerate hate, explaining that the entire Community is united against those who seek to spread such negativity.

 

“There is no place for hate in Bristol, and together, the community will stand firm against it”.

 

Rana Basharat Ali Khan and Amal Ali reaffirmed their commitment to working with the police and local authorities to safeguard the community and ensure that Bristol remain a city of peace and unity.
