The House of Representatives Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem (SEA) has promised his Continuous support to the growth of Education sector in the Area.
Hon. Abdulraheem made the promise in a Message to the 2024 Engineering Conference Final Quiz Competition organized by the Ajaokuta Branch of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Represented at the event by a Member of the Ajaokuta Corporate Development Committee and Chief Executive Officer of Aspitah Global Resources Ltd., Ms. Latifah Aspitah Isah, the House of Reps Member said education is dear to him hence his support for the Competition over the years, promising to do more in the days ahead.
Hon. Sanni Egidi, who is the Sponsor and Chairman of the 2024 Edition of the Quiz Competition, noted that Education is the bedrock of every Society, and enjoined the student to take their studies more serious as future Leaders.
The House of Representatives Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency said the Engineering Sector presently has few female practitioners, encouraging the female Students to build a career around the Engineering Sector which he said has vast opportunities.
Hon. SEA supported the Winner of the with the sum of 150,000, Second Position – 100,000 and Third Position – 50,000 Naira.
Al-Hilal Islamic Model School Okene, emerged First, Sacred Marist College Ejule emerged Second while ASCL Staff Comprehensive Secondary School III Ajaokuta, emerged Third.
Secondary Schools that took part in the final quiz competition include; ASCL Staff Comprehensive Secondary School III Ajaokuta, Al-Hilal Islamic Model School Okene, Nigerian Navy Secondary School Okura, Sacred Marist College Ejule, St. Kizito Seminary College, Idah and Faith Academy, Lokoja.
