Newly appointed Director General of the Kogi State Commodity Exchange Agency, Chief Adewale Victor Omofaiye, has conveyed deep appreciation for the overwhelming support and goodwill he has received following his appointment.
He extended heartfelt thanks particularly to the people of his hometown, Ekinrin Adde, and stakeholders across Ijumu Local Government Area, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, and Kogi West Senatorial District, as well as the entire Kogi State. Omofaiye emphasized that their trust and encouragement have been instrumental to his journey, and he pledged to honor the responsibility given to him.
Reaffirming his commitment to making his supporters proud, Chief Omofaiye vowed to fulfill his mandate diligently and uphold the trust placed in him by His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. He also expressed his intent to work closely with the Consolidation Agenda, building upon the foundations set by the former Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello.
As Director General of this essential agency, Chief Omofaiye will oversee initiatives in commodity exchange, export promotion, and market development across Kogi. He called for the collective support of all Kogites to drive substantial growth in these areas, aiming to create a dynamic market for local producers, expand export potential, and boost the state’s economic profile, thereby increasing internally generated revenue (IGR).
