The Former Transition Committee Chairman of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, Barrister Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, has been honored with the Best Performed Chairman Award from the Eastern Senatorial District of Kogi State.
The award, presented by the “Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance, Nigeria” in Lokoja, recognizes Cosmos Atabor’s outstanding performance among his contemporaries during his tenure.
The convener of the program, Comrade Abiodun Ajinomoh, emphasized the Organization’s mission to promote excellence in governance and acknowledge deserving individuals to encourage their continued dedication.
Barrister Atabor while reacting to the recognition, dedicated the Award to the people of Igalamela/Odolu Local Government Area, expressing gratitude for their support and cooperation.
As an aspirant for the forthcoming Local Government polls under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atabor pledged to leverage his experiences to enhance infrastructure and basic amenities in the Area.
He urged APC members to mobilize for an overwhelming victory in the Chairmanship and Councillorship election scheduled for October 19th, 2024 in the State.
The Chairmanship Aspirant also commended the program convener for promoting a culture of hard work, dedication, and commitment to duties through the merit Award.
